DESCRIPTION​

History

2015 harvest started a little bit late for Saperavi but finished on time for Tavkveri. Winemaking, Aging: Qvevri vinification in traditional clay vessels buried in the ground soil allowing a good temperature control. Beyond the pigeage vinification, thw wines are aged during 12 months in Qvevri.

Tasting

Pomegranate color. Ripe red fruits aromas, then red plums, Blackberry, with a spicy black pepper then “clay”, earthing hints. Silky tannins, with balance acidity sensation; good aromatic persistency. Best served at +14-16°C. Alc.: 13,0% vol.
