Vineyards
Lipartiani Wine House covers 10ha of vineyards in four the most important viticulture areas of Georgia with up to ten varieties presented in newly created and old vineyards.
Most are indigenous varieties of course, yet, there are international names as well. Four most active regions are Kakheti, Imereti, Samegrelo and Racha.
- Kakheti: Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane Kakhuri, Saperavi
- Imereti: Tsitska, Tsolokouri, Krakhuna, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat, Aladasturi
- Samegrelo: Ojaleshi
- Racha: Aleksandrouli, Mujuretuli
Distinctive unique taste and style of Lipartiani wines are achieved by the diversity of varieties. The grapes are picked at various times. Vintage starts in Kakheti in September. In October the vintage continues in Imereti and Racha and it is finished in Samegrelo in late autumn. Therefore, the wines are also made at different times and then their blending and assemblage begins.
